Ive got a nice track coming together. There's some great pssibilities with Synthmaster - I find it quite unlike all of my ohter synths. So far, I've been enjoying it a lot.

Hey Bulent, Ive got a minor problem here. Im using Ableton Live 6.0.1 and when I save and quit the project and open it back up, it doesnt go back to the patch I was using, but goes back to the 1st one on the list or the initial patch. It's being quite annoying

. Any suggestions??

EDIT: Also, I tried saving a preset through the synth in VST mode by right clicking(it saved perfectly in its proprietary format), but cant find a way to load it up because the host cant load it (b/c its not .fxp or.fxb)and its not in the synth's preset browser. How do I go about this?

Where did you save the preset? Under <system folder>\program files\common files\digidesign\dae\plug-in settings\SynthMaster

That's the default root folder for presets.

I am having a very hard time getting SynthMaster to work as a VSTi with my sequencer. After I download it, it's installed as a standalone application and I can't use it as VST. Is there a way this can be done as I've seen DXI VST and RTA on the site. I would really like to participate in the contest.

Had the same problem,
Copy/paste the DLL into your VST directory....then sweet as.

What do you mean by DLL? Do you mean the exe. file? or the standalone file (the one created on the desktop. Usually, as you mentioned, I copy the program to my VST folder and the sequencer automatically detects it and adds it as a vsti.

Just search for "SynthMaster.dll" under your program files folder, and copy it to your vstplugins folder.

Hi yes, I know what you mean, I usually get an auto detect also, but for some reason, this didn't happen.

Heres an example of my folder set up. I've highlighted the DLL file.

Synth Master directory

Then I paste in to my VST folder, yours may be different.

If you are in the same situation as I was, this should work.
