Excellent idea. If time permits it I'll gladly donate some presets along with my demotrack.

Yep, me too. Even though I have no clue what to do with this thing, apart from mess with the presets a little bit.

Oooff, I'd never get it finished before the old deadline.
My time schedule kind of like exploded in my face and I haven't been able to touch my musicgear for about 1.5 weeks.
15th of april is cool though.

How many presets will you require for the new campaign?

10+ (i.e. at least 10 presets)Gothboy wrote:How many presets will you require for the new campaign?
We will review the presets internally, and if we like them, we'll publish them on our web site and give credit to the sound designer (and of course we'll send the NFR licence as well)
This time, we might increase the number of NFRs as well, as we would like to collect as more presets as possible to create a huge library for SynthMaster.

Sounds good, I've got about 10+ already. I must say this is the most challenging synth I've worked with since I got my Nord Micromodular!

I'm using Synthmaster free in standalone and having trouble assigning more than 3 knobs on the easy page to my controller. After that each knob I try to assign somehow gets assigned to the Master volume no matter how many ways I try to midi map it. It's like the master volume controller is invisibly placed as the CC even though another CC is viewed in the midi link details. When I run out of polyphony I get crackly noise. Also, when I put the filters into split mode the 3rd filter blows up and creates awful noise.
Is anyone else having similar issues?

You are trying to assign easy parameters to MIDI controllers, right? I'll hopefuly take a look into that this weekend

Yes, I can't seem to be able to assign any more than Filter 1 cut and res, and Filter 2 cut that I have setup on my easy page and each time I change to either another preset or go to write a new one I have to re-assign my easy page paramaters to get them to work. Also, The portomento seems to only work on the presets that come with Synthmaster. I can't get it to work with patches I'm writing. odd

Until I resolve that issue, here's the workaround: Link the "actual" parameters to the directly to the controlers, not the "easy" parameters. That should do it.

That seems to work better, Bulent. I can assign as many knobs as I want now but I still have to keep re-loading my saved knob assign preset every time I change to another preset. All of a sudden the portomento is working for me now. btw. Another thing is that the sequencers aren't woking for any patch I write either but they work with the original presets.
Are these supposed to work independantly of the Arpeggiator?
I'm sitting here right now working on this because this synth of yours is sucking me in and the more I work with it the more I'm intrigued. I want to give you a hand with this because The sound design potential is so great. I want this to be a success for you guys.

The midi links are per preset. But still on the Midi Links dialog you can save the current midi links as a "midi link preset" (Yes, midi links have separate preset too!), and when you switch to a different preset you can load that "midi link preset"GothBoy wrote: I can assign as many knobs as I want now but I still have to keep re-loading my saved knob assign preset every time I change to another preset
Do you mean the patterns? To use a pattern, set the waveform of a modulator/midi lfo to that pattern. if you want the pattern to be tempo synced, set the modulator type to tempo synced lfo.GothBoy wrote: the sequencers aren't woking for any patch I write either but they work with the original presets.

Thanks, Bulent. I knew I was missing something.
