What I meant was I might was that the time I purchased it was I was planning upgrading to N3 3 or for weeks later. Well, it's been about 3 weeks or so and I'm about to upgrade and I might as well not install N2 at all at this point.

:)
Ah ha! makes sense, thanks. :D

Had to bump this.. if Reacomp was ever able to sidechain in a non-modular host that it would kill... everything else! Hopefully one day. It a good ploy to get people to buy Reaper thats for sure :cool:

ReaFIR is great! As far as i can tell it's the only freeware fft noise reduction tool?

I only wish I could adjust amount of noise reduction.

you can of course; have a look at this illustrated ReaFir noise removal tutorial on the Wavosaur site for an easy explanation:

You can... CTRL and left click onthe red noise profile you capture and you can drag it up or down to adjust the amount of noise reduction

Wow that was fast! thanx guys!

Yes, I have tried Reafir today for some noise reduction, and i must say i was impressed : the quality is now way better than some months ago (and so it is in "eq" mode). THe result was very acceptable : A great tool.

For those interested.. I have a workaround for Reacomp sc in non modular host using eXT1.41e and Senderella. In a nutshell..
Host=Send1
eXT=insert
Sender1=Recomp1
and so on for multiple instances..

If anyones interested I will post officially.

See ReaGate and ReaComp in action in these handheld amateur vids of Justin's first public REAPER presentation (available time: 15 minutes... :roll: ). ReaGate comes up in second part... (audio bass part midi triggering audio bass drum ;) )

(part 1)
(part 2)

This was the event btw: http://techbreakfast.com/itb_norcal/

Cockos' own Christophe shot this; a professional video of the whole event is in the making.

Just to note, now up to ReaPlugs 1.1, with ReaXcomp and ReaDelay! :)

Post

ReaDelay! Is that for Reaper only??

Post

No, all of the plug-ins in the ReaPlugs pack are for use in other hosts (not in REAPER, REAPER has its own special versions of these).

ReaDelay is an n-tap delay with optional temposync and filters and resolution controls...

P.S. new web page for it: http://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/
