( MaliceX playing Roland type sounds from within Oatmeal), it dawned on me that using
the modwheel on the keyboard could perhaps be modified (no pun intended ':)' )
and having had a go at sorting out the shop, and recalling the parts inventory, I went and got some electrical crimp connectors, the kind with a closed loop at one end, and plastic-coated crimp stem on the other, and I taped two of them to my synth, at angles that 'flowed' nicely from the modwheel, to a fatar foot pedal, and simply taped some 20lb monofilament fishing line to the modwheel, passed it through the loops, down to the (heavy) fatar pedal, taped it in place, set the modwheel to 1 octave range, and it worked quite nicely, as proof of concept, the caveat being it pulls down an octave, while not able to push up...but I still find it so nice to have this added lead ability hands free, no cc settings, no extra ports, and quite nearly free of cost,
that I pass it on, in case it may bring some sonic goodness to any of you. To partially defeat the caveat, I placed 3 connectors at angles leading the opposite way from the modwheel, making a semi-circle leading to a connector positioned at about the second octave C note, just above and away from the keys, so I can just reach up an inch to pull the modwheel up (I just tied a washer to the end of the second line!), while still having foot access to downward bends.
thanx to MaliceX, for the nice video, and patches for Oatmeal, now its time to visit the shop again, and put things in finer order, but oh, how I'd rather play the keys!

This is all of course under the patent-pending "Flexicable-drawbar" technology, and if any of you use it, without buying your wife or girlfriend a nice steak dinner,
or sending a paypal donation to a freeware synth developer, my lawyers will be around to have a little chat... '
