Turning off turbo mode in my soundcard seems to have done it.

Spoke too soon.
I was tweaking a patch. Now I get a short static spurt on the note off event.
Maybe you have suggestions for buffer setting, etc.

256 / 512 samples should be OK. (5 ms / 11 ms at 44.1k sampling rate)
Works at KV331 Audio
