Can I use the demo with Transmission exp?

Just wondering, I am checking out the Z2 demo, but really struggle with the dark / low contrast gui

Is there any way of trying out the skin that comes with Transmission, prior to purchase? - if not, can I take a chance and purchase Transmission, and use it with the demo version? - or can the skin be purchased by itself

The gui has to be easy on my (older) eyes, before I will commit to ANY new synth.... I have deserted a few already, simply becouse it's a strain to look at for more than 10 minutes - as it stands, Z2 (demo) is fantastic sounding, but visually taxing (for me).

have you tried unempty dark horse skin? I think it's pretty easy on the eyes (and it's free!)

Thanks, I saw this Gui: http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Ze ... shot.shtml - and thought it was quite effective. What happened to that skin? - The description says Zebra-2.1 - I suspect it was an earlier version.

Wow, that is nice! If you look just below the Zebra head you can see a small "1.5". I'm guessing it's one of the early prototype UIs. the colors are indeed quite nice though.

Yep, the "brown" one is the old Zebra1.x scheme. It was discussed so controversal, I decided to do something darker with more contrasts instead.

Future versions will at some point support changable skins, and I'll provide some easier skins myself.
