I am running it and have no issues to report. I have not done ANY programming or major stress-testing on Receptor though, just played with the presets. Some VERY inspiring sounds, I must say.AJones wrote:I know this is now officially supported. Anyone running on it Receptor yet and are there any issues to report? There shouldn't be i know but it's always wise to ask aint it ...

I've been running the 30-day trial for Predator, and I've been pretty impressed with it. In many ways, it is similar to Albino, but with an extra oscillator, two serial filters (a la Roland Jupiter), and *lots* of modulation options. It can be on the heavy side of CPU usage on Receptor, but overall it is a way cool synth option.

I feel like I should jump in here and point out that ALL Receptor users can download this program and try it out, fully functional, for 30 days from the first instantiation. No strings attached, if you like it you can purchase a license, if not you can just let it sit there or you can uninstall it.
A lot of customers have said that this is the ultimate way to try out new software, and there have been a lot of new releases over the last few months that can all be tried for free, fully functional and not limited in any way, for 30 days.
Given the number of downloads from plugorama of the new stuff we post, either people are happy with the software they have, or they don't understand that it is quick, simple, and easy to check out the latest software on Receptor!!
Cheers

Thanks groovology
I bought my Rev C before Predator was available so it doesn't show as one of the programs I can demo. Do I have to download the demo from Rob Papen's site and then install the mrpk file from plugorama? Please could you give details on installation then I'll try it out.
Thanks

You only need the mrpk installer from Plugorama. Download it from http://www.plugorama.com/customer/produ ... ductid=551 and copy it to your Receptor's "Drop Installers Here" folder. Then launch the installation from the Receptor GUI's SETUP tab.
