As we said before, there'll be updates to come, but there is no scheduled plan for v1.4.

I'm waiting for 1.4 because you announced more channels or a better handling of categorized samples in http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=187570

Sorry to say this, but it was not "announced". We rarely "announce" or "promise" any feature. Cao's remark on that was "I think we will consider about this in V1.4."
Please don't get me wrong, we are not playing with words or anything. It's one of our firm beliefs and guidelines that we do not make "promise" for something that is "yet to come" so easily. We still see "promise" as something sacred.
We have seen it many times before that many problems can arise from such kind of announcements or promises from other developers. We just don't do things like that.
We hope you can understand where we are coming from, and we thank you for your interest in Maize Sampler. There will be updates coming. No release schedules are planned.
*BTW, some developers put it like this: "it'll be ready when it's ready."
