My god! The new design is making the text all funky colored, too!Markus from Tone2.com wrote:I also want the old design back.
KVR is a mainly a forum for discussion.
All discussions are text related - and there is lots of text.
The new design in worse for displaying text. The reason why it is worse is that it does not scale with the browser. And that's why it fails for me.
My finger hurts from using so much mousewheel for scrolling and my eyes bleed because i complete loose the overview.
Please include browser scaling.
Sorry for beeing so rude and the critics, but:
I do not want to have my company support forum on a technically unprofessional website.
I'm sure that the other developers think similar. Otherwise we must move somwhere else.
New forum layout!

I like the addition of the music tracker to the page.
I'd suggest using the same color font for the 'latest + to the plugin db' info as you used for the dates in the music tracker. It is much easier to read, especially during a rollover.

I used to think the internet was going to unite mankind. Now I realize the internet is perhaps mankinds greatest wasteland of bickering, greed, and narrow minds. " And we all shine on, " Imagine that.

Another issue,
These MP3 icons on the "latest music posted..." are way too BIG and BRIGHT.
Whenever I read a text that is on their level, all I see are the buttons.
They should be a lot more discreet, maybe try and remove the while idea of a round button, and just disaply "MP3" using the discreet gray color.

Pardon my photoshopping skills.

The smilies at the bottom of the reply box is fantastic though
Dayum I didnt even condisder that part of it! Does anyone know why these updates had to be done now and what the main reason behind them is? There must be some twisted logic behind this.. I mean if your gonna make such drastic changes at least USE SOME AJAX so we can get varying size and or customizable site..Markus from Tone2.com wrote:I do not want to have my company support forum on a technically unprofessional website.

Holy crap that's a lot of negative feedback. Usually I'm quick to criticize web design that I think is bad, but to be honest I don't think this is bad enough to warrant much criticism, let alone stuff like "unprofessional".
All because it dropped variable width!? Tell most graphic designers that fixed-width is unprofessional and they'd sneer you out of the room, then sneer at you while you're gone for hours or days.
Of course, they're too dumb to be able to use a website. Pfeh.
This website just does way too much. Trying to style and design it must be hell; followed by the heller hell of "customer" feedback.

Surely there must be consensus by now...
