ARRRRRRRRGH
Yes. After some time needed to post the hotfixes for Leopard, I ran into some new annoying side effects of some improvements. I'm working like a dog, I want this finished...

There seems to be a cpu problem left with Sonar/Project5 when the gui is open, a problem with the memory of the gui when the host is closed while the gui is still open (both on Windows) and a problem with MidiLearn on Macs. I think I solved the MidiLearn issue.

Sigh... I need another holiday...

 It's ok Urs, I'd rather have a release that's good than a rushed one. :D

Have been testing the Zebra2 demo (and ZebraCM) on Leopard and found a few small things.

ZebraCM appears to work perfectly. I can save patches and everything.

Zebra2 (with hotfix) appears to work fine, except that hte close icon in the gui doesn't actually do anything. It works in ZebraCM but not in Zebra2. I'm using Ableton Live 7b13 as a host.

Using the wrench icon in Live closes and opens Zebra2 fine though.

Thanks!

Unfortunately ZebraCM and most other plugs won't work properly in Logic and Garageband on Leopard. That's where text input is pretty screwed.

Nevertheless I'm preparing the final package for Zebra 2.2 which will hopefully work fine and then all other will be updated asap...

Just out of curiosity, how does it come that the new zip file is about 3 MB smaller than that one of Beta6 ?

Urs mentioned earlier that he would trim the factory preset library. My guess is that's the reason.

Exactly!

For one thing it saves costs for exceeded bandwidth on my server, and it eradicates the major point of criticism: The absence of usable factory patches. The old patches are still available of course, but I hope that many people who didn't like Zebra at first view will now see it differently :)

Hey Urs
Zebra 2.2 page on website wrote: Zebra at a glance:

Phat, warm and organic sound. A very musical character

Beautiful, intuitive user interface

More than 1000 great presets
IMO it should not mention the number of presets, but that there are 1000s to download (with link).

Thanks - fixed!

(D'oh... it's still 500 with the Zebralette patches... nevermind)

Excellent update Urs! Lots of refinements and enhancements, and working well here.

Not to mention the immense effort put in by Howard - top stuff as always...
