Thanks everybody for the good words and the praise, <grin>
Good the name Addifract will stay, for the GUI we'd need to have a 3D alternative since it's easily skinnable, but let's see that later,
BTW now CPU usage reduced 10% more

Luigi,
Yes. If this can be optimized to work at decent levels, I do see a market for this type of synth.
It actually can compete with the likes of Tim Conrardy/Boris K. and H.G. Fortune.
I would certainly work on this VERY original sound. Fractals truly do kick ass.
If I were you, I would sweeten up the GUI to look VERY hi-tech (black theme) and include an open gl animated 3d-fractal display engine to coincide with the audio fractal pattern so one could "see" what they are tweaking and playing.
Just a thought.

Liqih,
Cool. The gui should be 3d looking, not flat - like a console (look at the gui for compositelab pro - very hi-tech looking).
A small 3d opengl or direct3d engine could be used to synthesize the fractals being played and react when tweaked - the visual feedback would be enormous and nothing exists like it currently.
I'll be happy to make more suggestions if need be.
Likewise, I look forward to creating some very unusual and cool mp3 demos using addifract.

Thanks,
Mike did you installed it yet? I'd love to hear one or two presets from you

Ok.
Had a very quick look.
Some bad notes: crashes sonar 5 pe every single time. Crashes savihost when exiting. May not like Vista home premium.
I had no memory problems or massive cpu spikes.
It sounds cool as crap.
I'll learn this bad boy another day, as I am tired now, but this thing sounds very original and I see plenty of applications for such a sound generator/synth.
You may want to include a compressor/limiter so as to not blow people's expensive monitor speakers. This thing can generate some sound, I'll tell you.

Hear the sound of the Addifract beta: I recorded 24 minutes of improvvisation with one instance of the synth and then I edited the WAV file reducing the duration to 7:19 minutes, preserving what I think are the best parts, applied a limiter and converted to 160 kbps MP3.
You may hear some click from the editing I did.
The Reverb is only the one inside Addifract.
All the sounds are from one single Addifract beta tweaked in realtime:
