That's actually what I'm planning to do for my entry. Make a chilly 2-minute song, and then up the tempo and/or timestretch.napalmbob wrote:Wonder if I could make a 12 minute track, up the tempo so it only lasts a minute, then ask the listener to load it in their DAW and see how it sounds.
Purely for research purposesof course...

Buggritt!
I usually do slow chillout stuff. Oh well, I'll just have to see how fast I can wind this steam-synth up before the wheels fall off

It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

DAMMIT!
I made this killer hard-acid-trance track and then remembered it was supposed to be only 1 minute long.
Here it anyways:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/12/3/ ... -Speed.mp3
Remember, this is without my usual "special sauce", its just rendered straight from FL Studio without a final mixdown or pre-master.

Hey Arke, do you have a longer version of your entry that I can DL?
I'm better than you. Deal with it.

Hmm ... I got a version that's only 100 bpm instead of 188... not an expanded version of the song itself though.Former Pharaoh wrote:Hey Arke, do you have a longer version of your entry that I can DL?

OK
I have a single prize left from last month's contest.
It a copy of Traction3
Don't quite know how to give it out, so, I'll do it this way.
The first person responding to this post gets it!
Good Luck
