Any opinions on the demosounds? I still can't dl them, tried at work as well - it still is a pain in the arse.
Interrupts always at 8 mb, at home at different levels, never more than 73 mb, then starts again, dl-managers don't work either.
I just went through the whole download at my place(20min) and it works fine.thoshu wrote:Nice instrument. thanks a lot for that freebie.

Hi, I'm in Italy.thoshu wrote:Thanks, much appreciated!
I'm in Germany, tried with Opera and Firefox and Flashget at home, with IE at work - both in different areas in Berlin, so it's unlikely it's a backbone-problem with DSL somewhere.
Strange enough that no one else posted problems with dl that demosoundbank.
Nevermind, seems to be a problem connceted to my location(s) in some way - might try again in a week
have a nice sunday (ups, it's saturday actually!)

My point is that as far as beta testing goes, they made the choice to offer it up as it is for us to test it. Who knows, maybe they don't have the resources to do the "normal" beta testing that happens. Maybe they wanted to get to the problems quickly as Plugsound Pro has been broken for more or less a year now. Anyway, I hope that they get this thing ironed out and bring some more sample libraries to the fold. What I would like to see is:shogger wrote:Ah yes, spidermix wrote:So here's a virtual beer to all those who can kick back and be productive, and a virtual bitch slap for the rest of you.

usually there is some way of compensation for a beta tester. Bugs as weighty as the ones already meantioned tell me that this product would need some serious beta testing which is real work. After that there could be a public beta test to iron out the last incompatibilities. Just to clarify that as you might not know what we're talking about here.
So relax with your bitch slapping.![]()

Yep I did.Bass108 wrote:oliver, did you see my response on page 14?
We may go the same way that NI did, with 128 unamed automation, then have the possiblity to connect those in the plugin.Bass108 wrote: Does anyone else wanna chime in an automation for this bad boy?
In logic I end up creating 3 channel strips in the arrange for one voice. I start with a midi track, then add an aux track to be able to change the volume independent, and then, say if I want to automate a filter, I have to create an midi instrument track to send midi cc's to the UVI. This gets really redundant and bloated after awhile. If we could have the ability to send midi cc's in the automation window in logic i could stick with one channel strip.
and before i suggested 128 cc's. but really it probably should be for all 16 channels so things are more efficient.
Of course yesViktorW wrote: @OTristan: Do you also take note of all the feature requests that have been mentioned so far, for future updates?

What do you mean by a flat EQ ?spidermix wrote:One more thing:
When you select an EQ preset, a FLAT EQ needs to be one of the options. The current eq presets (the same ones in Plugsound Pro) are over the top and distort something silly. Fix that and I'm a paid customer.....well fix some of the other issues too and I'm a paid customer....

I'm sure that you can add some "air" using a widener, a nice resonant filter and a very subtle analog chorus.spidermix wrote: 2. Better synth sounds:
Synth anthology is pretty good, but it sounds "closed" or lacking air in a lot of the samples. Actually, the sampling process of most of the plugsound library seems a little "dark" and closed in. That helps to keep the songs balanced in a mix, but makes it some work to get the sounds to hold their own in a mix.
