Just payed for Zebra2.2 online , Can't wait for the Email .2008-06-21T21:34:16+00:00Have been extensively demo'ing softsynths for a forthcoming bout of productiveness after buying a mac and logic . Most synths that people recommended to me didn't have the analogue warm sound I was looking for and the modulation options on many synths where frustrating . At first look Zebra is unusual and complicated , something I was trying to avoid , but after having a little play I found it was pretty easy to create some very fat sounds . The modular approach whilst at first looking confusing works very well for someone who learnt everything on reason . You can assign any number of filters or affects to any/all or none of your hand crafted oscillator waves which is key for me being able to create multilayered patches without creating multiple instances of synths . The filters are surprisingly warm and rich sounding and the oscillators don't seem to degrade and fizzle out in the lower ends which is something that I experienced on many demo's . As an all rounder that you can actually use to make rich and crucially warm textures quickly it is definitely worth the money . Now when I am I going to get this email that will let me download the full version ? I wonder if there are people working at the U-he offices late on a saturday night ? I hope it is not a weekend thing where I will have to wait till monday for it . I am anxiously waiting
Cheers ,

A word or phrase I copied from somewhere that helps to define me and also make me look cool .
Sweet , email just came ! Gonna get on the bad boy now ! Thanks U-he ! Where is U-he that the time is so far behind GMT ? I know EST is five hours behind UK . Anyways I'm off to make some nasty leads and evil prodigy-esque acid b-lines .
Cheers ,
Dan .

We're in Berlin, and registrations are done by a guy called Hans ("wonshu" on forums) and me. I was out for dinner while Hans probably watched footy. I guess he sent you the reg codes right after he came back from the match
Hi danphobic! Don't forget to check out the latest beta version of 2.2 which can be found here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=207873. There's a few new modes for the osciallator FX and there's a few new module types too. It's not as rock solid as 2.1 but definitely interesting.
I wanted to make a topic about it, but i figured i might as well reply here. I've been drooling over the Zebra 2.2 demo for a couple weeks now, and yesterday evening i bit the bullet and made the purchase. Anxiously awaiting my reg-code now, i can hardly contain myself!
This is the most expensive piece of software i have ever purchased, the second most expensive was Renoise at € 69,- (my host).
There's one problem tough, i'm fairly new to modular synths, and while i made great progress trough playing with the demo, there's gonna be a lot of little questions that i will want answers to. Stuff i can't find in the manual mostly. Do you guys mind if i make a new topic like "Zebra noobs ask all your questions here" or something? I'd hate cluttering up the forums with every little question i have. Offcourse i'll do a forum search first, and study the manual, but to be honest, the manual ain't all that (and a bag of potato chips).
Here's a stupid question: I've used the demo mode of Zebra 2 only for a few minutes, but what is the demo mode lacking that the full version has? In other demos I've noticed intermittent cut-out, inability to save, etc.
