32-bit vs. 64-bit

Greetings from Warsaw.
Currently I am trying to choose better option for me:
Pro Jr. + Komplete because of 64-bit processor and 400GB HD
or
Workstation Rack because of Miroslaw Philharmonik I want to use (I did not find information what is HD size and processor but assume 160 GB and 32-bit)
Question: is there any noticeable difference between 32-bit and 64-bit processor when working with the Receptor?

All Receptor models currently sold come with a 64-bit Turion processor. The top version is the ML44, the entry version used to have a ML34. Not sure what is used at entry level these days.

Are you sure? I found the following comparison chart and my assumption was Speed parameter Fast is 32-bit and Fastest is 64-bit processor.

If it is true I need to order Workstation model directly from Plugorama. I talk to polish dealer and they have no plans to import them. The only one Receptor was sold here in Poland

They are both AMD Turion 64-bit processors. The ML-44 runs at a higher clock frequency.Ciey wrote:Are you sure? I found the following comparison chart and my assumption was Speed parameter Fast is 32-bit and Fastest is 64-bit processor.

If you plan to buy in Europe you'd be better off ordering a TWR directly from IK Multimedia: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/twrack/

The Receptor OS works in 32-bit so there is no advantage of using 64-bit now. Of course, modern 64-bit CPUs are also faster under 32-bit. Also, special instruction sets are available for 64-bit and 128-bit calculations (MMX, SSE, SSE2 etc.). Most VST plugins will use them I think.
