Hi Lennard, Please could you say if there is a chance of a new 'group buy', as us 'mac-heads' missed out on the first one?

Thanks

Hi... I don't want in any way to put Lennard into a 'difficult' position.... But maybe as some of us have stated our interest in a POTENTIAL Group Buy.. It would be good for others to state their interest in this idea, by signing this thread... So that Lennard can get a good indication of numbers... Just a thought

I have a feeling that he'll do one as soon as he releases the AU version. I was happy to already pay the regular price though, so worth it! ;)

Hi ,

I would also say that it would be a good idea to hold out for the AU version to be released before doing a group buy . There would be alot more people interested in it . Me included . I would personally go out and tell everyone I could about the synth and the group buy as I'm sure many others would . I would just be happy to pay the full price when the AU comes out since it so worth it . Is it too early to ask for an update on the progress or predicted time of completion ? For me it's all about budgeting , what with everyone running around preaching doom and gloom about the economy .

Cheers ,

Dan .

Same here. I had gotten kind of disenchanted with VA's (including hardware ones like the Virus, which I owned briefly and sold), and had gone to just using real analog multi-samples in Kontakt because the emulated analogs all just seemed to lack something when compared side-by-side with samples of real Moogs, Oberheims, etc. I guess I'd never bothered to demo Sylenth because its voice architecture looked rather limited and I figured it was "just another VA." I finally demoed it yesterday afternoon, and a few hours later I had to go ahead and buy it. A lot of softsynths will give you that more plastic, "modern VA sound," but Sylenth gets closer to the classic Vangelis/JMJ analog vibe like those multi-gigabyte sample libraries derived from '70s analog synths. A very cool and surprising find.
