Final mix:
Lots of different sounds: bass sequences, drums, drones, "tension clocks", thunder, other effects...

Unless... hey, adamtrance, are you wearing a black cowl and cape by any chance?

I know - he should go into the preset design bizness - he might make a bob or two :)

Batman doesn't think sound is high fidelity until the sampling rate reaches 300 kHz. (Assuming his hearing range is the same as a bat's. Is it?)

In case you qualified for this I'd ask Urs for a pay rise. :hihi:

Hello,

May I ask why Virus patches were recreated? I guess HZ has a (or even several (!) Virus), so what is the point?

Sorry if it's a noob question (I really am a noob!), but does Zebra 2 can replace a Virus (should be interesting because the price are very differents)

TIA,

Alex (studying the Zebra 2 demo with a printed manual in one hand, and starting to have headaches! What about some tutorials? :help:)

If you watch the credits after the movie, howard is credited with 'synth programming' along with hans and some other guy. congrats.

I was only asked for one Virus clone, and we don't need another "Zebra vs Virus" discussion. Except that, in terms of flexibility, I do think Z2 truly kicks the Vir...oh, forget it.

It appears that Henry J. sneakily snuck his sneaky way into the synth programmers' credits at the last minute, the sneak - er...hi Henry!

Cost & space. Many people work on the music at some point and it was cheaper and less space consuming to just install Zebras everywhere than to buy more Viruses... for a single sound...

No-no-no - Zebra can also be heard in at least one scene of the original
German advertising spot for Kelloggs "Why So Cereal?":

Rotkehlchen-Junge: Holy Mountain of Moog Modulars, Batman!
What's that sound?

Fledermaus-Mann: Is it a Virus, is it a NordLead, is it the mighty
Synthoramic Subsonicator...?

Der Witzbold: ...Oh no, my complete-me buddies, it's the lip-smacking (slurp) Zebra2!

BTW: All the rest of the soundtrack was made using This Plugin

enjoy...
