This new beta seems to drop the first note of a clip in Live 7.0.10, at least on the Mac. Anybody else seeing this?

It only happens with the VST and only on the first loop through. If anybody else wants to try here's a simple demo set:

To reproduce, just stop and start the set.
This might very well be a Live bug. I have a lot of problems with plugins in Live 7 that work fine in Logic.

Maybe it's Mac/7.0.10/VST specific?politcat wrote:no problems here on the first loop through eitherkuniklo wrote:It only happens with the VST and only on the first loop through.

That's on Live, and the bug's been there forever. It's due to how it compensates for a plugin's internal buffers.

Figures. Maybe it's time for me to start using Logic again.ew wrote:That's on Live, and the bug's been there forever. It's due to how it compensates for a plugin's internal buffers.

It does, but with Logic I can just stop using plugins altogether. I've had so many issues with one plugin after another in the last year that I'm *very* strongly leaning towards switching to a complete environment like Logic or maybe Reason.ew wrote:Yeah- but Logic does the same thing with some plugins, according to your post at the top of the second page in the linked thread![]()

It is when you have fifty clips to deal with (in session).pdxindy wrote:in Live, just make sure the first note of the clip is the slightest tick in... it is not hard to work around
Screw Live anyway. It's dead in the water as a live host and it's a lousy linear DAW and it breaks 2/3 of the plugins I throw at it.

I've not had the problems you have, but if I did, Live would frustrate me just about the same
cheers

For some reason, this new beta is not compatible with my old projects that use Zebra 2. Has anyone else encountered this? I've tried setting it up with the installer, as well as the pre-installed version, but in both cases, when I load an FL Project that used an early version of Zebra, FL reports errors and will not load the plugin. However, if I create a new plugin instance, it works just fine.
EDIT: Nevermind! Fixed it.
