I have to say I'm impressed with the release/packaging being met. I wish that was always the case

also, I am still very interested in feedback of any kind (er, by omnisphere owners) and am in agreement with the pro-omnisphere crowd that if you don't have something to contribute, don't say anything. So, people lucky enough to get this already DON'T BE DISCOURAGED by all the flaming, there are many of us who enjoy!

Of course that is just asking for way too much

Can I suggest you guys get your own forum either on your own site or at KvR ? I'm well tired of your constant Omnispam spruiking.

But I doubt you will. Once the initial sales hoopla runs down I imagine you'll be pretty scarce again. A forum would commit you to a real presence.

I agree that a forum for the omni is a good idea. There is a new one up at:

..but its a by the user/for the user type thing and not an official place from Spectrasonics. I just registered there myself.

Gulp. I've been an active participant here at KVR ever since I wrote Crystal and my other free plugins. I've always tried to be helpful and positive. I'm sorry if you took that as something which was designed to offend you, but if it helps, I'll try to avoid answering questions in threads that you might read.

It's amazing how you hate these threads SO MUCH that you continually post in them, bumping them by doing so. Why not just go away if it doesn't interest you? And criticizing a dev for answer a user's question? Hardly spam.

Your posts, however, could easily be considered trolling. Really, why not just ignore these threads. SURELY you have that ability, right? I'm all for condensing information into one or two threads, and I think it's gotten better outside of a few people who want their own thread for some reason. But apparently you just have to make your point, over and over and over.

Regardless, I won't harp on it. Wouldn't be fair to Spectrasonics or other people interested in Omnisphere(just as I am), and I've said what I felt.

Hey Glenn,
Apologies for Cabinfever and his ilk. I truly don't understand the obsession with participating in threads they claim to obtest so much soley for the purpose of derailing them and chiding the participants. What's the point? - what's the compulsion? What would cause a person to spend a good amount of time photoshopping an image, then spawning it repeatedly across every thread with the word Omnisphere in it? Now there's some misguided dedication and devotion (Would have made a damned fine crusader). Clearly the guy has issues, chief among them is too much time on his hands coupled with a difficiency in that part of the frontal lobe who's job it is to direct his attention away from all shiny objects and toward productive pursuits.

Really guys, there are plenty of non-omnisphere threads going on that you can participate in here on KVR. Or better yet, tune out for a while and go do something productive if it's bothering you that much and you just can't look away.

Again, sorry you have to endure such childishness and poor treatment. Eespecially when your presence here is aimed at genuinely assisting and answering the people who purchased your product. Please try to overlook the riff raff.

Cabinfever, who are you to dictate other people's activity and presence at KVR? There may be a lot of threads concerning Omnisphere, yes, too many, but that's because people are excited - the hype obviously worked.

I welcome developers participating in the forum as much as possible. It is not spam. With reactions such as yours it's a wonder that anybody dares to post at all.

Please back off.
