So I've finally started using the latest beta (which is great), and obviously I'm not too inclined to go back to the older version, but I've noticed that a few parts of this dark horse skin don't line up anymore in the new zebra version. And there are some new modules too. So I've been using the default skin instead.
But I miss the dark horse skin now! It's just so great, and I got so used to the different panel looks.
So I was just wondering if the original skin creator was planning on updating the skin for the new zebra?
and thanks again for making it!
cheers

I am going to use the dark horse skin as a case study/tutorial for updating a skin to the new skinning engine (as in MFM2). It will also be bundled with the final release of Zebra 2.5, fully updated to the new modules and all...R.J.Dubya wrote:So I've finally started using the latest beta (which is great), and obviously I'm not too inclined to go back to the older version, but I've noticed that a few parts of this dark horse skin don't line up anymore in the new zebra version. That is excellent news, sir. I've held off on the beta because I only wanted to hack the Darkhorse interface once. Using it as a case study is a brilliant idea!

it's not. but not everyone uses the betas, and the skin works fine with the 2.2 release version.
btw, is the inclusion of the Dark Horse skin still on the roadmap for 2.5?

Interesting. Can you access all the features in 2.2 with the old skin?Goratrix wrote: and the skin works fine with the 2.2 release version.
The reason I could use an updated Unempty Dark Horse skin (apart from the aesthetic consideration) is that I cannot access that killer new compressor mode, the very useful oscillator reset switch and some of the other excellent new features without one.

I just had a couple of crap and not-so-crap months (sick for weeks, then vacation) this year. So I'm now working my ass of to get things done - unfortunately some new fx first, then updates to Zebra & Co.

Good news: I have an internal version (AU) now that switches between original skin and unempty dark horse - plus, adding new 3rd party themes is really easy now
Gotta add this functionality to VST/Win layers, then we're pretty much all set for an update...
