Try this. It's a quick fix. Don't know if i forgot something. It's been a while since i did this. I tried it briefly and it seems to work alright here.
Have you tried the Java version instead ? I quite prefer that one myself as you can export the raw waveforms as well as the synthsized ones. Plus you can just double click on a window to open the file browser. A little less hassle.

Here.
EDIT: Plus it got some keyboard shortcuts as well. It's just easier to use i think.

First link has no .exe file so couldn't test it. Java version worked alright here too. Thanks.jupiter8 wrote:http://www.box.net/shared/84q59e54po

I got a message: "This user is out of bandwidth". I'll check out later.

Don't know if this has been mentioned (I got through about 10 pages of this thread) but there's some issues with the Saving OSC settings box in the latest version in Unempty Dark Horse mode.. it's not displaying/redrawing properly.
(Mac Pro 2008, Logic 8, AU version).
Also. is there anyway to get the larger size to pop up as default when one opens an instance of Zebra?
[PS: This is my first week with Zebra... loving it. Great job Sir!)

I've had the input box redraw problem with one of the release candidates in Logic too, but it got fixed somehow, maybe after installing the most recent release, but I could not be certain of that!!
Peace,
Andy.

There seems to be a bug in the voice mix section:
With any sound source on a channel, assign the mod wheel to volume at the bottom of the voice mix section. Set the volume value to full and the modulation amount to -100. The sound will start at full volume as a note is played and decrease to 0 as the mod wheel is moved towards 127 i.e. full open.
If I use opposite values by setting the initial volume to 0 and the modulation amount to +100 when I play a note and increase the mod wheel, there is no sound at all, even with the mod wheel full open. If there is a very small value for the initial volume the volume does increase but the scale is no where near the same scale when used to decrease the volume.
It works correctly if the modulation is done via the mod matrix, but wastes a valuable modulation slot. Can this be fixed?
Peace,
Andy.

So far so good in Sonar 7 for my first day with the new RC (yep, I finally got brave enough to update). You get an awful lot of new little goodies at once when you wait over a year to update, don't you? I haven't had a chance to mess with many of the enhancements, but the new compressor modes seem to be very useful for bass. Great stuff!
Looking forward to the official release so we can get hold of Michael's newest patch collection as well.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but there seems to be a serious bug when the latest RC is reading any parameter automation during playback. (Cubase4 here).
If I try to open and/or close the UI (for editing) during playback of a track where parameter automation is being read, the UI will grey out, and Cubase will do a hard crash.
I've been able to reproduce this on both my laptop and desktop (both running the latest version of Cubase 4.5).
Can anyone confirm?
(again, I'm sorry if this has been mentioned already)

This sounds very similar to a crash I had over the weekend in Live 7. I haven't had time to try to reproduce it but the stack trace showed a crash in the Zebra code.advaya wrote: If I try to open and/or close the UI (for editing) during playback of a track where parameter automation is being read, the UI will grey out, and Cubase will do a hard crash.

Can you send that to me? (Live.crash.log)kuniklo wrote:This sounds very similar to a crash I had over the weekend in Live 7. I tried to reproduce this too, but no luck. Maybe it's already fixed on my system - we'll know shortly.

That modulation slot always SCALED the nominal value, so if you start with zero, you can't get more or less than zero. Changing this to add/subtract instead of scaling would cause patch incompatibility. Personal note: I would gladly sacrifice patch compatibility for the sake of better functions immediately, but maybe it would be more wise to "fix" this and other niggles in a major update i.e. Zebra3.ZenPunkHippy wrote:There seems to be a bug in the voice mix section:

I'm contemplating stuff like this in "mode" selector for the VCAs where the choice would go between linear vs. exponential gain.Howard wrote:I would gladly sacrifice patch compatibility for the sake of better functions immediately, but maybe it would be more wise to "fix" this and other niggles in a major update i.e. Zebra3.
