Hope this is it...
Yep, very much seems like it - no automation crash yet in Vista and permission thing fixed on Mac (I sent more thorough posts at the other place because couldn't post here then).

I haven't been able to try the automation thing with the Mac VST though - but as long as the same fix affects it as the Win version, should be ok right?

Should be okay! Thanks Spritex :)

(currently writing Uhbik manuals... sheesh, what an effort...)

mattmitch wrote:I have a preset question:

With one of the recent updates, I've begun putting my presets in a 'User' folder, but I can't find that folder on my drive when I look for it to make a backup. I see all the other presets folders, but not the user one. I seem to remember something in this forum a while ago about the file format changing, but I can't remember where. I'm on a MacBook Pro running 10.5.5 and the release candidate just prior to the one Urs posted about previous to this post.

Love the Dark Horse skin, btw. and of course, I love Zebra and all u-he products!

Thanks for any help.

FYI, latest RC no longer crashes XT2 when automating

& XT2 is known for being fussy when it comes to automation :scared:

Same location, new files:
Sorry,I'm very late to the Beta Party. Am I correct in saying the skin that I'm using on version 2.2 will no longer work? Do we just install the latest Beta over top of the 2.2 install or do a clean install? I'd like to give 2.3 a try, looks like some really cool new features. :tu:

You simply install over existing stuff, but make sure to read the accompanying ReadMe file...

You can from now on use multiple skins - just put them in the new Themes folder. Other skins have to be updated though to match the new features...

Just a quickie:

The chosen skin now sticks but not the size. (and am still having redraw issues with the Save OSC box at any size other than normal... just tell me if you want me to stop mentioning the SAVE osc box! ;) ).

Am loving the new features... thanks Urs!

the larger GUI sizes are great btw... would love to make them stick too!

Sorry, but that doesn't work yet... I need to debug some hosts before I can do that. Or maybe make it available in an unofficial version after releasing this... or maybe I need to workaround these hosts... somehow...

;) Urs

P.S.: keep mentioning the preset box resize bug... I have yet to check that one out...

Large GUI sizes are so nice to have. I could wish for a size between large and huge, but why ruin a perfectly good day with such talk... a synth you can see is worth two tiny ones in the bushes. Quickly now, let me send you more money, before my Zebra-is-so-cool euphoria wears off.

... That's cool, no biggie (pardon the punnage) but would be fantastic in the future... I have the 30" Apple monitor and it's so easy to work with at the larger size!

It's been over 30 minutes since I mentioned how much I appreciate the larger GUI sizes, so just keeping you updated.
