I'm a bit paranoid by nature. This year is very tricky in terms of tax though because changes in the German tax system force tax payers to resolve "losses declared in advance". By declaring losses in advance, one could bring down the current tax bill by saying that some money had been put aside to fund next year's expenses. Which many people did, pushing this over years and years. But now this goes away, and everyone has to cover the postponed taxes. In my case this is quite marginal, maybe two months of average sales, but I really want to have a comfortable cushion first before declaring things.
If anyone got a negative impression, u-he is doing pretty fine. No debts, one tooth less (soon to be replaced by an implant) and really great prospects. I have only started to get serious about old age pension this year, so I havn't even lost much in the global crash (doing a fonds-based life insurance).
Later,
