Awesomeness. I've been so good...I didn't buy that Little Phatty during the "Free CP-251" offer, I didn't buy the Poly Evolver I was looking at, I didn't bid on that PPG Wave 2.2 on eBay. Being able to get Michael's new patch set after the official release will be a nice little reward for my self-restraint. Maybe I'll spend a little bit of the money I didn't blow on another synth on a second widescreen for my PC so Zebra can have its own monitor. 8)

We finally have a release version. I still have to work on the website and prepare a newsletter (we also release AFTERskool in the same go which makes the newsletter a bit more complex). Unfortunately I havn't slept much last night, so I'm not sure I'll make it there today. So the impatient may just grab these:


Zebra23MacInstall (VST & AU, RTAS Mac)

Zebra23Winstaller (normal installer for Windows)

Zebra23pre-installed (with Zebra2.data for Receptor, Everything In Vstplugins)

- adds quick-assign for XYs to knobs (right-click->assign to->X1 etc.)
- hopefully fool proof installer on Windows, detects Zebra2.data and acts accordingly
- hopefully fool proof installer on Mac, fixes permissions
- adds Oscillator factory presets to Mac installer (were missing)

Wohoooo!, gonna grab in a bit. Are the lfo free mode position on rendering still a little quirky on the first notes of the render or has that been remedied now?

Hi, great stuff Urs, but I have immidiate problems with Zrev and Zebralette not opening as VST plugin in Live 6.0.10 on osx macbook pro intel dualcore 10.5.5. When adding VST of either it just shows a blank box. Actually, you cant even add Zrev after an plugin in an effects-chain (nothing happens). The AUs all work perfect as far as I can tell. Also, I think that Zebralette installed without any default presets in my Library/Audio/Presets/U-He/Zebralette? I used my old ones that were installed with a previous version. Thanks.

Thanks for the info!

I start to hate VST on Mac - in order to keep the installer reasonably small, I have to run a script to create ZRev.vst and Zebralette.vst out of Zebra2.vst. In that process I have to patch the binaries to make them aware of "who they are". I've outsmarted myself by using an already installed version of Zebra2 instead of an unpatched prototype :oops: :cry:
