I'm hoping to have a new set of presets done by January, many of them making use of the new features in Zebra 2.3.
if it isn't too much to ask, can you roughly say which patches will be in the new library?
I am primarily interested in the bass, the funky stabs and the clav which I think you already said will be in the new library.

I like the video on his site.

Time for me to really learn how to play the keys!

Let's see...

* There were two bass sounds. Both are from the current "Dance & Electronic Trilogy" collection (available on my website.) They are "Vintage Saw Bass" and "Beefy Sat Bass", with some light tweaks.

* The chord stab sound at the very beginning is also from the Trilogy, called "Fancy Stereo Saw". However this particular preset was pretty tweaked so I'll probably include the tweaked ver in my updated library.

* Another chord stab sound that is used in a layer is from the Trilogy, called "Mellow Dreamer". Was initially made as a trance poly sound :)

* There's a background clav that comes in at :38 which is a tweaked version of "Hohner Sqr Clav" from the original Trilogy, but I'll include the update of this patch also.

* The main lead clavinet you hear is something I just did today. Will be in the update as it uses Zebra 2.3 features.

* Everything else - strings, pads, guitar - are all in the existing collection. "Dark Growl Syn" (solo guitarish sound), "Basique Pad Sweep" (layered sound), "OSCar Lead" (powerful hook in choruses w/ vibrato), "Lush Ensemble" (strings), "Farfisa Organ" (organ!)

I'm designing a mixture of things for this update. Examples include a couple big trance poly/lead patches making use of the Eleven osc, some C64 style leads/basses, a few electro-house sounds (plucks, bass), massive sus basses, DNB 'reese' basses, ROMpler style sounds like tuned noise hits, and so forth. Definitely taking any requests too.

love the clav!

Holy cow! That's funkadelic.

That's a side to zebra I hadn't heard yet.

WOW!! this is exactly what I need zebra to do at the present moment. I'm working on a synthfunk project and boy your sounds are just the stuff I'm after.

The tune is awesome too. Will check out this guy's website.

I can't believe the man did this in one hour - he must be some sort of genius.

Yeah, bring on the funk! Why can't I hear more of this kind of music in nightclubs? What great dance music! Love the solo stuff at 2:00- 2:19, and it's beautiful in the way that it really opens up at 2:52 along with the great bass lines from about 3:10-3:27. Let that Zebra roar!

A bump for those who haven't heard this.

So, I'm writing the soundtrack to a game (mostly using Zebra for the synths) and one of the themes needed to be funky. I decided to do it in virt's style.

Almost every synth here is Zebra... the first keyboard lead is layered with FM8 and the bass sound is from Sonik Synth, but I think that's all. Anyway, enjoy :)

Hey Zircon, I'm your biggest fan. :)
No really, I love your music (heard your tunes on ocremix). Always great sound!
Especially nice are the basses in this one in my opinion. Very juicy and .. well, just nice sounding.

virt is cool as well .. I have a few chiptunes from him.
