Sure, next update. Btw. now "P" works and you can control the sequencer with keys like 1-5 etc. It is available in the help - ? buttons and F1 keys.UncleAge wrote:I haven't delved into the VST mode yet, but...
In standalone, would it be possible to implement a universal playback/stop with the space bar?

Sometimes it is better, because you can change its size. Not a good reason? Well when you're editing a complicated groove, you want se as much as possible.Musical Gym wrote:Most or all of my stand-alones never get used.
Moreover hosts capture many keys, but when you run MDrummer as standalone, you have many many keyboard shortcuts at your disposal. It works in VST too, but you know, when hosts says it's his then it is his

I'm not sure what your last sentence means.

It is just that the VST host can give the plugin whatever he wants. And if he wants "space", that there is nothing the plugin can do (actually there is, but it is too hardcore to be recommended
).

A couple things --
You might want to have the MDrummer Large installer search for and uninstall any instances of MDrummer Small before it installs itself; after I installed the 2.07 update, when I tried to load up MDrummer in my host, it reverted to my previous copy of MDrummer Small.
On another, less important note, you might want to have the install VST to directory field default to C:\Program Files\Vstplugins\, since I believe most non-Steinberg applications and plugins use that over C:\Steinberg\Vstplugins\.

You are probably right. It is just hard to avoid... I'll think about it.
About the directory - are you sure? I haven't seen C:/program files/vstplugins for some time.
So people question for you - DO YOU USE
a) C:/program files/vstplugins
or
b) C:/program files/steinberg/vstplugins
Thanks in advance!

Ok, there is one possibility - setup can find an existing directory from a predefined set. So be it

Is there any way of changing the theme? I find it hard to read on my laptop screen. I would love to have at least some alternate choices that provide for more contrast.

Well, in standalone you can change colors (style button in the title). However there will be possibility to change size too. But you have to give us some time
.
