A man is as good as his word. Do you or don't you do what you say you're going to do?Dean Roddey wrote:He walked in the door within minutes of my PM'ing you indicating that we needed to work out the price of the shipping. It was quite possible he wouldn't have bought, and it wasn't obvious to me from your previous PM whether you understood that shipping was your cost since you'd only offered to transfer the price without shipping, so it was also quite possible you'd have balked at that.
Again, sorry you feel bad, but such is life. If I'd told you yesterday you could have it, I'd have waved this guy off. But it was so close that I feel it was well within my rights to choose the better deal. Everyone who was looking to buy it were certainly doing the same, and wouldn't have hesitated to dump me if something better came along in similar circumstances, and I wouldn't have blamed them.
Up until now you've had a good record but this is not good. I'm sure you'll recover from my disappointment but this is the feedback thread and this what you "get" for doing "that". Such is life.
It's a nice guitar. I'm sure the new owner is very happy with it. I'm sorry it's not me. I thought it was going to be me 'cause you told me so. Now I'm very sad because you, and there is no nice way to put this, lied to me.
