Me too. And it's definitely in development and involving it's user base.

My work is in post-production and Protools dominates that sphere, but new T users with post needs like Filmusic should really check out Reaper.

Really!? I've tried it and was so annoyed at how long it took me to figure out how to get it to make a noise, I decide that it's not worth my time to discover if the rest of the software is or isn't as prohibitively frustrating. I don't mind if complicated things are complicated, but simple things should be simple. I know it's powerful, improving, and easy to use once you take the time to learn it and configure it for yourself, but I can't give it the same marks for simplicity as Tracktion. Is any other software as wonderfully obvious as Tracktion's left to right flow?
Surely there must be consensus by now...

The majority of T3 users sound like a bunch of women.

If they don't support it any longer then buy another host!

If you're unhappy with the quality then buy another host!

I have 3 albums and 7 record releases tied in tracktion, I am not braggin but I should be on of the lead crybabies and I am not.

I bought T1.3 because it was 80$ and I did not have money for the original cubase 5 at the time. I have since gotten my 80$ worth. :)

So for all the weekend warriors and myspace musicians shut up and buy another host!

This has to be the 10th thread about how terrible mackie/T3 is.

So far everyone here has been simply been funning around. You my friend are a sour puss

Besides with Behringer taking over T3 we are sure to get a version 3.0.4.9.

Again......link please!

It's madness, and maddening. I mean, it'd take two seconds out of what I am sure are very busy days for them.

Obviously they can do whatever they want. But it reflects quite poorly on them as a company. In this economy, you'd think a company would want to bend over backwards to keep their customers as happy as possible....amazing.
And for me at least, my discontent will influence my hardware purchases as well.

No. This is the only forum that I can troll AND I don't talk to prog rock guys. If it does not have to do with silk shirts, mini moog ( series D) or dream theater you won't like it. I learned that lesson years ago on the sonicstate forums. :)

My music only uses 12 of 12 notes.

Everyone knows that prog rock uses 14 of 12 notes so how could it even compare?

Then you would be like "LOL that's not Dorian mode and you used // 5ths for 2 bars"

Go put on your HS band uniform, go to guitar center and buy another host.

Come on Warbug.....Links? I have no qualm with you. Be a man about it (or are you a chick? In which case my bad....no offense.) Do it for me. Let's hear your stuff. Track counts/genre/equipment/etc don't have any bearing on production chops. We all know that. If you are good at it then we'll gladly acknowledge that for you, even if we have different tastes. But so far you haven't impressed anybody or even come close to validating your remarks or your authority on the matter. And the "bunch of women" comment was a pretty lame statement that easily offends both guys and gals and doesn't speak well of you even if your production skills are good. I'll be back in a few minutes with links for a new thread where you can illuminate us with your work. I'm anxious to hear some.

Peace.....
