I like the amnesty period. Very fair. And those who have purchased the Pro 40 recently are going to get a Receptor 2 for little money considering purchase price + upgrade price. Well done Muse, as a way of saying thank you to those who decided to buy one of the end of line models.
Intriguing, the mention of Receptor 2 standard. I couldn't find any info apart from the specs of Receptor 2 Pro and Pro Max to see what's different.

Here's a link to the NAMM announcement regarding the "basic" Receptor 2 http://www.museresearch.com/news.php?id=111
It looks like a single core processor and 250 gig SATA hard drive are the significant differences.
And thanks Ben for the upgrade information. Now it's time to decide what to do.

Thanks.
Single core AMD processor. This would suggest a different motherboard compared with Pro and Pro Max (Intel). In that case, no upgrade from Receptor 2 to Receptor 2 Pro. Shame.

As much as I would like to upgrade from Pro Jr to Receptor 2 the economy will have to get a lot better before I can do it!
The $1,000 to upgrade will instead be spent to feed me on Taco Bell and McDonalds for a year...but hey, at least I won't go hungry!

So how do you navigate to this from the homepage?Ben [KVR] wrote:It's not yet possible to book your Receptor in for upgrading, but these are the details:

Initially there should be agents in USA, Italy and UK who will be able to undertake the upgrades. Perhaps more, I'm awaiting confirmation from Chris.

OK - Great info about the upgrades.
Now - when should we expect upgrades to be available? I assume we need to schedule these on Plugoramma via support tickets?
Thanks, Regards,
Kevin L
