Sorry for my poor english, but before buying uhbik, i'd like to know if uhbik works until vista 64 bits (without a 32 bit vst bridge). I don't find this information anywhere.
thanks for your answer...

Uhbik works on Vista64, but only as 32bit application.
Full 64bit support for Windows is planned for late 2009.

Ok I understand. I think you should check this thread: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=244999
It's a little app to run 32bit vst plugins in 64bit hosts. I never tried it but maybe this will work with Uhbik. BTW, Uhbik is GREAT!

Thanks for your help. I see this interressant topic. However, i'm very carefull with the 32 bit bridge and potential bugs which stop cubase anytime. (too many bad experience with this type of program). I hope that 64 bit version coming soon...

I can be wrong (and hope I am) but I think Urs mentioned that he has no intention of doing 64bit version of his plugins.
Maybe he can give more info if he's reading this.

Thankfully I got a 64bit Vista running on my new MBP. That wasn't possible two years ago...
We'll see, but I don't think it should be too difficult to accomplish.

Sound good! I'm still able to squeeze better low latency performance out of Windows compared to OS X so Vista-64 is still heavily used here. That might change with the Fireface-UC (USB) though since it's seems to be more optimized for OS X compared to what Firewire can deliver. We'll see...Urs wrote:Thankfully I got a 64bit Vista running on my new MBP. That wasn't possible two years ago...![]()
If you encounter any problems with that, just let me know via PM/mail.

Urs, does this mean maybe we'll be seeing a 64-bit Zebra sometime this year as well? My hope is to stop using Cubase32 on my Vista64 box by 2010, but I am not dealing with that nasty VST bridge.

I'm not 100% sure about the implications. For the last six months I have watched out for pitfalls in my code and so far everything looks doable.
