I had an idea the other day that I think could be super useful to me and a lot of potential customers. If you could do live input into the Rhythm generator, why not have it be able to keep the base beat going upon hitting the generate button so in a live situation I could basically start tapping out a rhythm and when I get the base rhythm like I want it, hit generate and have the whole song structure start. This could be a really great live improvisational tool.MeldaProduction wrote:Ouky douky, I think that IS possibly. Written in TO-DO!zerocrossing wrote: Yeah. Like you're in Rhythm Generator and next to the play button is a record button which would trigger a metronome and begin recording your events. I could care less about the standalone, I never use standalones at all.

Well, this won't be so simple
, but written to to-do list, hopefully it can be done somehow

Hey zerocrossing - I started to check what's the next most important move in MDrummer and found your idea - the problem is I don't remember if it is done already, or you wanted some more AI thing - you knw the loop recording with metronome is there, right? Was that it or not?

lots more drum sounds and lots more rhythms.
a random drum pattern selector in the quick start menu.
within the song structure menu
it should be easier to have more
than one rhythm in a song.
keep up the good work.

Sorry for my english.
I think it'll be great to synchronize recording of midi to mdrummer with host. This feature was added to 2.13 but when I press record in mdrummer and then I start playing midi loop in host to import it. So the recorded loop slide some beats from the beginning of measure. It's'll be super not to begin recording midi into the drummer untill I start to play midi loop in DAW.
Thanks.
