Hi, want to say that Im very impressed with the demos of this library and thinking about purchase it, so maybe someone can answer some doubts about it:

How big is it?
How many velocity layers?
It has some cycling notes (round robin) implemented to avoid the repetition effect?
Its there some intelligent scripting (portamento, legato, vibrato, etc) in the kontakt version or its planned?

The first demo seems to have a lot of expressivity, so it seems to have some complexity...

No one from Manytone can answer it?

Sorry for the late reply, I've had a very busy weekend. Thank you for your patience!

It is a total of 138 MB.

There are two velocity layers--one with pure tones, and the hard velocity layer has that aggressive buzz on the notes caused by the string hitting the edge of the fingerboard.

While there isn't automatic cycling, there is a layer of staccato notes which can be used, cycling between the lower range of sustained notes and this range of staccato notes mapped in the upper registers.

If you load the upright bass in ManyBass (and ManyStation as well) there are controls for portamento, legato, and vibrato. These use the traditional techniques of pitch modulation to acheive these articulations.
