Yes, we are almost beta now 8) We still have issues to sort out, but that doesn't stop us from releasing the "almost beta" version.

We sent out emails to our existing users a couple of minutes ago, let's see how many will participate in the beta testing program.

Initially, we have the Standalone version, but hopefuly the VSTi is coming up next week.

Apologies for now having enough documentation+presets yet. Until next week, we'll create some tutorial presets + tutorial videos.

Best,

Bulent

Hi there, I'd like to post some first things about the new Synthmaster as I'm playing with it now and these are things that make working with it uncomfortable...

I was playing with the wavetables and the controls are so jumpy, that it's really hard to make slighter adjustments. It would be great to add like holding SHIFT when dragging the knobs, makes them turn slower. And I think most people prefer dragging the knobs vertically, than having to move circullary.

It would be also nice to have ability to edit the wavetables in the Wavetable Oscillators - maybe like in Zebra, or to have more shapes than the 4 there are, which is without the ability to make your own shapes too little for the wavetable part.

The editing also applies to Basic Oscillators and even LFO's, but there's at least the Step and Glide mode, which give you better control than the normal LFO's!

I like the control elements which are similiar to Massive.
It looks like it could be a great synth!

EDIT to the waves: It looks like there is some waves editor there, so only the yellow text applies!!!

It depends where you click. In the middle they are vertically controllable.

Just a little thing I noticed right now:
The envelope slope reacts inverted when you use the point in the envelope graphic compared to the dedicated knob. I prefer the way the knob is dragging upwards move the point up.
When you drag the point up it moves down.

But all in all I really like what I see - I think with a proper UI it will be a very controllable synth with cool features.

Folks, I am very busy right now coding the user management tool (in C# this time!), looks like I wont be able to send the license files before tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay :(

Here's a Category 1 (Showstopper):
The first bug I've found is with main page settings, and I reproduced this event several times yesterday and today :

Setting the standalone version "Buffer Size" to "Large" and "Engine Quality" to "3x" crashes the synth. The patch becomes harshly comb-filtered or something and plays only on the left channel. Changing other settings does nothing, and finally, trying to close the synth gives a Windows error message "...encountered a problem and needs to close

I get a reproducible crash:

start the exe, go straight to the "Waves"-panel click and drag in one of the three displays ---> crash

You first need to click on one of the waveforms on the left to load content. Perhaps it would be better to load the first as default ???
