Well I tried to crash Zebra 2.3.1 in Reaper 3.06 (WinXP) and I couldn't. So it's the beta only that crashes?ATS wrote:this sucks to hear, I was starting to get excited about Reaper because I thought it wasn't too buggy

As far as I know... yes.Ardtreck wrote:Well I tried to crash Zebra 2.3.1 in Reaper 3.06 (WinXP) and I couldn't. So it's the beta only that crashes?ATS wrote:this sucks to hear, I was starting to get excited about Reaper because I thought it wasn't too buggy
I think it must be related to the preset favourites/junk thing... it's the last thing I added to the gui code and it seems to not clean up that well...
There's also another suspicion. There was a bug when printing unicode strings to DbgView (techy tool that displays loads of messages while running a beta version)... maybe that's in the latest beta even though I thought I fixed it...
Anyhow, Zebra makes big leaps towards 2.5 recently, so maybe we'll soon have a new beta.

Huh? Installing the normal version from the website didn't work? Have you tried the pre-installed version that keeps everything within the Vstplugins directory?sinzero wrote:same result, neither worked...

There isn't any. Just wipe everything off the VST plug-ins directory AND the u-he directory in Program Files. Then do a fresh install of 2.3.1.sinzero wrote:I was gonna try a fresh install but I don't see an uninstaller anywhere

Whoa, be careful to back up your presets first if you delete the u-he dir though as that's where they are keptArdtreck wrote:There isn't any.
