Hi Urs,

any news on the crash on open/close GUI of the 2.3.3 beta in some hosts?

In Reaper it's rather easy for it to happen, just add an instance and close/open its gui within the FX chain window; BTW, Reaper is not the only host in which happens, I've seen reports on Live and SONAR IIRC....

We'll know quickly once the next beta is out...

I'm trying my best to find it myself, but I could only make it crash once in a thousand attempts, and that was weeks ago. I've worked on suspicious parts, but I'm not 100% positive.

Here in Reaper for windows, just open/close the GUI a dozen times and you'll get the crash... would you like a minidump?

hehe, yes, that's the point... I've been sitting here for hours trying to make it crash. It crashes easily on some systems, but on others it does not.

Send me that dump though!

Don't forget it crashes a lot easier if it's in the FX window rather than floating (I couldn't get it to crash from floating either)

it always crashed on me when floating in reaper. and I didn't have to open and close umpteen times.

I had to uninstall the beta and go back to 2.3.1 so I could use zebra again

2.3.3 crashes in Sonar 8 PE occasionally on open/close. i7 940 PC.
