Have Zebra break down the points from the WAV into grids of user-determined sizes, have it find the average slope and whatnot, have it put them together with linear and peaks or w/e and then you have a GeoMorph'd WAV...I think. Well it's one possible way of doing it. I don't know, I'm sick and I may not be thinking clearly. :?
I was thinking (just thinking, not actual doing) similar features for Blueberry Thing, but AFAIK data point manipulation of Geo/Spectro Morph graphs via scripting is not available (yet ?).

One day I'll know what AFAIK is...*Opens Google* Maybe it'll be today. :)

Edit: I feel stupid. "As far as I know" I thought it was some fancy scripting term or a kind of point.

I don't know how to be serious, but I'm in therapy.

A zoom editor would be usefull with:
- MMap
- GeoBlend
- SpectroBlend view

Instsead of putting the gui at 'large' or even a bigger view you press an
accelerator keybord key and then you get a big view( on the particular stuff to edit) with decent editing functions.( the problem is that you can't really edit the 127 steps of the mmap or the partials of the spectrals oscillators editor without putting zebra at a bigger view).

Then you edit your drawing style-stuff...

At last you release the keyboard accelerator and then the 'zoomed-in' view disapears... ( why not in a very styled fade-out style)

( ohhhh, where it's gone :o ) :hihi:

I too find these a bit hard to use. How about something simple.

To each of these add two knobs:

Partial Value

then you can map on a midi controller the two knobs, and dial up/down on Partial to get one of the partials, then use Value to change the knob.

(bonus points if they're modulation targets...)

Add key scale and velocity scale for the comb filters, and noise.
Thanks.

i'd like to see an o-scope in zebra, like bazille has. hell, if urs could slap together a little "effects" plug to drop in after (whatever), i'd throw a few bucks down for it. zebra invites a lot of playful experimentation, and sometimes seeing is just as fun as hearing...

A spectrograph would be cool as well...then again there are a bunch of free oscilloscopes and spectrographs. I think it would be cool if you could press a button and Zebra would automatically EQ your patch to fit certain freq DB limits set in predetermined EQ patches. These would be like those tuning files, except for EQ. "EQing" files they will be named. Anyway, it would be kind of like those built-in EQ settings for iTunes and WinAmp and whatnot with settings for "Techno" and "Rock" and "Bass Boost" and whatnot.

Edit: It would monitor the freq levels and adjust them accordingly to level it out or w/e.

Urs I think you need a vacation when an EQ setting cracks you up. :P

Code: Select all

// Sets all *active* EQ modules to look like a brontosuarus with two humps
And here I was wondering what a Camelsaurus was...

I really need a WestGoingCamelsaurus and an EastGoingCamelsaurus for a complete set of EQ curves.
