just a note, please fix the issue with the preset authors. there are two scott solidas
and I still miss the live-parameter changes switch
Well, I might try it in 2.1, but technically that's hard for some discrete parameters, such as filter type, osc algorithm type (additive/wavetable). Based on those parameters I set some function pointers (C++ jargon, sorry) when note on is received, so that's the technical limitation.rectus_dominus wrote:and I still miss the live-parameter changes switch
Use the mouse wheel, that should help you.rectus_dominus wrote:So, my main problem is that I can't change filter cutoff when I'm playing a midi note (thru my pc keyboard, not my Fatar)
(In this f*ckin dorm room, I don't have space here for my keyboard, had to lend it)
I'll check that out.Ingonator wrote: Some patches from Scott Solida seem to use 8 voice unison which results in high CPU use. Many patches still miss categories.
Would you be able to try it with Reaper?abstractcats wrote: I'll try this on my Vista PC later, hope this helps
This week hopefuly I'll have time for that as I'm in maintenance mode now!S-N-S wrote:i hope presets for the individual effects will be coming soon
Perhaps allow marking some presets as favourites.kv331 wrote:I'll check that out.Ingonator wrote: Some patches from Scott Solida seem to use 8 voice unison which results in high CPU use. Many patches still miss categories.
As for categories: I'll work on that. also I'm planning to add another "category" so we have 3 different ways of categorizing presets:
1. Instrument Type: Bass, Brass, Lead, Keys, Piano, Pad, etc...
2. Attributes: Analog, Digital, Additive, Wavetable, FM, PM, AM, RM, Physical Model, Tutorial, etc...
3. Style: Pop, Rock, Trance, etc...
This way, one can easily find the presets they're looking for: "Hey I need an FM Bass for Trance"
Sure thing, how ever I've only picked around in Reaper a little (but it should not take long to get used to)and I have a little bit flue so it may take me till Friday or Saturday to get to it.kv331 wrote:
