Why I'm awake right now is a mystery, but if your simple chord has 1) long release times, 2) uses 'many' voices, 3) uses lots of stacked voices, or 4) is on a high quality setting, all these things contribute to the processor usage. I'm sure a variety of other factors can also be taken into consideration, but these would be the most significant factors I believe.Exhile wrote:Please convince me to buy this s ynth. I love the presets and it looks and sounds great but i am well confused by how to program this as i am not very handy with modulars and cables. Will i get used to this or am i better of letting this one go.
BTW is it normal that some patches are taking up 1 whole cpu on my 2.93 ghz Imac when playing a simple chord?
Oh yeah, buy the synth. Patching stuff is much easier once you use it than fiddling with lots of drop downs and other do-dads.
