Thanks for your patches, i've tried them and lightly modified one going into a problem using it:

With Ableton Live 7.0.18, i've created a midi loop clip using ACE, when i've added a second instance of ACE, i've noticed a light hi-freq cutting off from the first instance, like as the filter was closed a bit!

I've did nothing than tweak a bit the patch and then adding the second instance of ACE on the second channel, no automation or something like.

Then i've tried to select the same patch on the second instance and the first instance of ACE restarted to play correctly like before!!!

Anyone that can reproduce this? (Obviously better trying with Hlis93 patches)

Here a sample, you will hear a difference in the highs that's coming when i add in the 2nd channel a 2nd instance of ACE:

Here's my Hlis modified patch:

Yes, I was able to reproduce to reproduce this.

Problem 1 process: Made two midi tracks, Midi 1 and Midi 2. On Midi 1 I add an instance of ACE and selected Funny lead 2. I then recorded a loop you hear this from the start of the audio clip. Around 0:06 I added another instance of ACE on Midi 2 you hear the change in the sound. At 0:08 I have selected Funny lead 2 and you hear the sound return to normal. And the Recorded sound for both Midi 1 and Midi 2 sound correct.

Problem 2 process: Made two midi tracks, Midi 1 and Midi 2. On Midi 1 I added an instance of ACE and selected Funny lead 2 and then recorded my loop. On Midi 2 I added an instance of ACE at 0:08, however I selected a patch from the local patch menu. You will notice the sound for Midi 1, Funny lead 2, does not return to normal.

This does not occur with the other patch selections; I can only reproduce it with Funny lead 2 and a second instance of ACE added only after the first instance is in play. After I have selected Funny lead 2 on this second instance I can so anyhting and it works fine.

I using windows XP with an AMD something, and Live 6.

Just a first simple experiment with ACE.
All sounds are ACE, no effects except for a little eq.
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

Nice synth I just wondered how to wire ace's filter section up to follow the same route as the Jupiter 8 filter section. The VCO mixer goes through a 6db hp non resonating filter and then through the lowpass filter.

thanks!
It maxed out a quad core Q6600 machine, whith quality settings @ 'standard'.
ACE is excellent although slightly buggy yet (it's still a Bèta): sometimes adjustments were reset after saving the song. I wanted to add some more grungy modulations to make it more interesting but lost them a number of times by resets.

Yeah! As i said - synth that is finally delivering blazing and super fast envelopes. These sweeps, zaps and moog like leads really reminds me to SonicCore Minimax in sound character. But this synth sport vast more versatility. Definitive winner!!!

U-he is there any chance to find these envelopes in Zebra in some future? Just asking of course 8) Zebra is pretty much winner in different class :)

Hmmm... you could try the variable slope envelopes in Zebra with the slope setting at full left. That should give you pretty much the same snap. They key in ACE's "snap" setting is based on feedback rate modulation. I could indeed try to add that to Zebra at some point.

I HATE share-it!!!!! :bang: :smack: :x

Tried two times with my company mastercard and they refuse to finish my order. I use it for every other purchase I do on the net and no problem there, this is the last buy I will ever go for with their service.

I want the bursting and noise to go away from my ace... :-o

Now I'm trying with my personal card and hope that works better.

Urs please, change the card-option in your shop to something else/better... :hail:

Cheers,
ea

+1. Had to use my second card to be able to buy ACE. Same problems when I tried to buy the Uhbiks some time ago...
