When I installed 2.0.3.3, the .zip file contained a warning about needing to unzip the VST into a particular directory for that to work; however, I went ahead and unzipped it into a different directory (my general VST folder) and it SEEMS to be working fine.
Is that "particular folder warning" outdated, or is there some hidden gotcha waiting to grab me?
Also, I only had to use the registration code for the standalone; the VST didn't require it. Is this the way it's supposed to work, or does this indicate that things aren't working right and I'm bound for something to break in the near future?
Is specific VST install folder still needed in 2.0.3.3?

You can install it to anywhere you want. That message was meant to be just a "recommendation"
