And you know what? I'll expect it 14 days from now!!!

the card are not in my hand because i need to see the drummer who is not here for nowMeldaProduction wrote:And you know what? I'll expect it 14 days from now!!!![]()
Anyway for training i 'll make one with the samplebank i have bought before cause i 'll sure there'll no pop or click
And i only know the basis of multisampling so i need to be familiar with it but i think i 'll can make an easy kit for the beginning.

Then the generator will be a little hard to use - it takes tracks on the input, not samples. You can "make" him use samples, but that's quite complicated. You can rather use the layers in MDrummer to use multiple samples.

Yep i have try with sample and i have a crash.MeldaProduction wrote:Then the generator will be a little hard to use - it takes tracks on the input, not samples. You can rather use the layers in MDrummer to use multiple samples.
I have some loops so i ll try with them if i have understood how it works:
The MMultisamplegenerator cut the tracks by their volume and then assign cuted part to one velocity based on the analyzed volumes.
It's simply amazing!
It can be funny to generate a kit by a melodic track XD
But how can i import only samples with multilayering in mind?
You says i can use the layers in Mdrummer to use multisamples.
So i am confused i was thinking that it wasn't impossible without the Mmultisample generator.
So i need to play a little it was my first try but i am confused
Ps:The exemples works fine :)It's amazing how fast this app works for generating multilayering kit with just 5 Samples Oo.

Crash?? It crashed? If so, I want to try
.
Anyway the application is designed to process recorded drums, not align existing samples, which you can use just using MSampler and normal MDrummer velocity layers. If you really want to use your samples, you can either mimic the behaviour of the first step in the generator
, or I suggest it would be best to create a long wav from all these tracks and let the generator process it for you.

yes it crash always on the first step but it's with sample not a long track.
But you suggest to use Mdrummer velocity layer so for to be clear:
It's possible just with Mdrummer to make a multilayered kit?
I have already questionning about this and you had said that i need the Mmultisample générator so i am very confused.
Anyway i have bought the superfunk dusted william loops i 'll try with them on the Mmultisample generator i think i can obtain very good result with them.

Aaaha, sure MDrummer can do that! You didn't notice the velocity layers panel?? Each drum can have unlimited number of velocity layers, which can even have overlapping intervals for alterning hits.

aaah ok my fault i was thinking that multilayer was only possible with Mmultisampler. And you're answer was more for the trancit question my mistake :p
So i see the layer panel and it's so easy with it to do a kit !!!
I just wait now for to have the other guy who sample is own drums and i 'll make a good kit for Mdrummer users!
Anyway thx for the Multisample générator i 'll try it with the loop very soon.
And always thx for this excellent support!

Hi,
so i bought mdrummer and i am quiet impressed. I was on the search of an all in one solution related to designing/synthezising and layering drums and percussion plus easy to set up beats and grooves. I tried different tools (RMV, Poise, ShortCircuit, Geist) for layering and designing but missed some functions which for example Poise has but ShortCircuit not and vice versa.
Now i played around with MDrummer and find it quiet complete (for my workflow). But one feature i missed to death. A delay function in the MSynthesizer 4NN. I know there is a delay function in the MSampler and MMultisampler. And i also know i can setup a delay in the effects section with the MUtility but this a painful workaround and it is not per velocity layer.
Why i ask for it. If i designing a kick or a snare with for example a sample for the click and a synthezised (MSynthesizer 4NN) tone for the bottom end (layered as velocity layer) i want to delay the synthezised tone. This gives the overall sound a nice smack or punch withput compressing or EQing.
Greetings, Impulslogik

oh, another question. isn't there round robin for the velocity layers or did i missed something.

Hi and thanks
About the delay - well, I'll add it to to-do list, but I fear it won't be that simple, it's a synthesizer you know, so delaying it may be a tricky business.
About round robin - you just need to create multiple layers and then select mode - "first" means only the first layer assigned to that velocity, "all" means all of them at once (hence layering), and "random" is kind of round robin - it randomly selects layer, that works much better than just iterating the layers one by one as it usually works.

Hi and thanks for your fast response,
I'll try randomising instead of real round robun. BTW i found out i can simulate round robin by layering different sounds by different velocity layers and triggering them via the corresponding midi/trigger signals. A workaround but it works.
Keep on the good work, Impulslogik
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you can solve the problemMeldaProduction wrote: About the delay - well, I'll add it to to-do list, but I fear it won't be that simple, it's a synthesizer you know, so delaying it may be a tricky business.
