Forgive me if this topic has been debated over already, but it seems I have a weird problem.
I bought a new iMac a few days ago, and I'm finally running Logic 9, yippie
However, I wanted to purchase Sylenth, but first decided to try the demo. This is where things go wrong.
I downloaded the mac version Sylenth Demo. I then install it. The demo is placed in a map called Libabry/Audio/Plugins/VST. However, when I start up Logic, I can't find Sylenth anywhere. Also, when I reboot the iMac, the demo suddenly is gone, and I have to reinstall it. Very weird. Can someone please help me with this? Do I need a VST to AU converter? I don't understand, especially the fact that when I reboot, the Sylenth demo is suddenly not in the plugin folder anymore and it has disappeared, so I have to reinstall it. Edit: Also, I run Logic in 64 bit mode, because I have 8GB of RAM installed. Does that have anything to do with it? Does Sylenth even work in 64 bit mode?
What am I doing wrong here?
Kind regards,
Rik
