I think this is more than a bit over the top just for a plucked guitar sound! Use 3 lanes instead.
I thought I was gonna do that, but I needed 3 different times to start synths. On note start, on release and on independent note for occasional slide. I didn't fund way to do that in one instance, so I used three. :-)
You can assign 3 different envelopes to each lane in zebra. Then switch the envelope mode for env2 and env3 to a longer one like 10s or 4/1. Finally, right-click the first dial in the env and set it to delay.

Now you can set each env to have a starting offset from each note in. Use the mute buttons to solo your parts to make sure your delay times are right. Here's a screen-shot of a mock up I did to illustrate the point:

Thx, I see, that starts sounds in different times, but I need Zebra to wait until I put finger off the key, which it can't do intially. (May be feature request? :-p) And slide was needet to map just on some different key.

You can do this with MSEG.
Tip: Always assume you can do something with just a few modules until proven otherwise!

Thx for MSEG tip, you're right. i see there is even mapper. I should be able to shrink it into one patch, thank you! :-)

WAIT! You are THE genius who design patches for Hans Zimmer? WOW!
It's huge Off-topic, but Insception soundtrack is IMPRESSSIVE work!
You two guys ROCK! Seriously. :-) It's honor to speak with you. :-)

Well thanks to mr. Scarr I was able to mount everything into one patch. Slide is bit more different, becouse I ran out of filters and reverbation is from Zebrify, becouse only reverb in Zebra I used on Body. But rest of it is just drumkit. Nothing more in this preview. :-)

Tried strumming here ... :-)
What do you think about it? :-) It sound a bit spanish-ish to me. :-)

Wow, great convincing acoustic guitar sound FarleyCZ :tu:

Only that snare drum in the demo is somewhat irritating/distracting from that beautiful guitar sound

You must be kidding! :-) Hollywood sound designer is liking my patch. Now I'm happy! :-)

Thx! :-) About snare, I thought ModernBeats samples could give there a little nice "uptodate" feeling. :-)

very nice!

Here is an example of a recent string sound I did:

http://draigathar.org/sounds/Stringzz2.wav

The basic sound is an osc with a very short envelop sent to the comb module. The string resonance is a second osc with a slow swell envelop and a very low volume also sent to the comb module. Sometimes I send the second osc to the second comb for more inharmonic resonance.

There is a huge range of plucked sounds possible by changing the osc (exciter). Sometimes I use eleven with detune on full... sometimes an additional noise module with own envelop for some string buzz. The oscFX are really useful to shape the sound too. Also, I usually change the tune scaling of the osc. Using osc sync also gives a nicely different result on high notes.

An extra osc not through the combs also gives a nice fullness depending.

I usually avoid using the reverb for body but then I like really clean sharp sounds, so I create body by other means which has been a fun exploration recently. (extra comb or exciters, channels and filters)

Here is another simple string sound which experiments with that. It has a resonance that builds when holding more notes. If I remember correct, there is no reverb at all.

http://draigathar.org/sounds/pluck5.wav

I own Tassman, but I prefer Zebra for plucked string sounds... Which if you know Tassman, says a lot about Zebra!

Thanks for an interesting thread

I love it! Kind of arabic!

Love it too! I'd filter bottom end, though, but it sounds great!
