How is everyone? ... sorry, I've been alternating between being busy as hell, and being absolutely shattered over the past few days.

So, 8 days to go, and 3 entries in. Anymore on the way? or do we need an extension?

Gonna see if I can get mine finished, and kinda hope we dont have to extend .... because, there may be another extra comp which needs to start soon. I'll keep quiet 'til I have more details, but it will certainly be exciting news

OK, 'bout to post mine .... normally I would wait til the daylight hours when my neighbours are at work, and do a final mix, but what the hell? ... right now it sounds good to me .... so here's the stats ...

Yea school start with kids ++ I can imagine is wearing.. Good that you still have left over for track-making atm.

My track progression is going awfully slowly. Basically stuck. Will probably make the deadline, but can't get the sound right and now I've been tinkering with it for too long..

Oatmeal has been quite a surprise though. Didn't like it before being too digital and thin, but can make some great sounds no doubt about it.

Tried both Wingy-Stingy and Gallileo there Tattie. Brave choice.

I'm working on something, but won't be able to get it in before the current deadline. The dayjob is extending itself way into the free time zone

Trying to do a SQ8L track but that currently is going nowhere.

So an extension of one or two weeks might be nice

Any more calls for an extension? As I stated above, I'd rather not .. but if there's support for it, and it's in the interest of the comp, then .....

I was going to try to get a submission in on this comp, but I won't make it by the end of the month. While I wouldn't mind an extension, I say "don't wait for me"! I'm going to be hard-pressed for time 'til mid-September, so I'll just be interested in hearing what you all come up with.

I just realized there is this sort of compo... which sounds like it would be fun, and there's the weekend so maybe...

...though I wonder if there's a requirement for the release dates of the 2 synths used... I mean I guess it isn't legal to write 2 synths and release them freeware 2 hours before entrying a track... which I might find like fun thing to do..

He that's not quite fair..

About extension, I would also like that, but for sure when the deadline came up I would want another one.. And despite the comp going on for almost 3 months..

As I was stuck with the Oatmeal track I just loaded up some Synth1's yesterday and the mojo came right back. Another reminder to myself the importance of going fast once the inspiration is there and not get bogged down with initial details as happened tweaking Oatmeal..

Free is free, the rules are few. If I never heard of your synths, its tough luck to me, but I've never heard most synths that people rave about, either. So many synths, so little time.

You could also enter your code creations in the next 'Developers Challenge',
