I'm sure this is something simple, and I'm just missing it. One of the techniques I often use is keyboard scaling and panning, so the low notes come from the low end of the stereo spectrum, and the high notes from the other.
I've put together the pieces that I would think would make this work in SMv2.0, but it just doesn't seem to work. The Pan knob works by itself, but either adding or multiplying it by a Keyboard Scaler doesn't have any effect. I've tried the Pan Spread in both the minimum and maximum positions, and while that works, my panning is still static based on the position of the Pan knob.
Any suggestions?

Pan + modulated by any keyscaler should do it. What version of SynthMaster are you using?

I have two versions of SM2, and both claim to be v2.0.3.3.
One was downloaded last June, and while it works, I have the issue with panning. Actually, it's not limited to keyboard scaling. I'm unable to do any modulation of panning. That may be the case with modulation of other parameters, too, but at the very least I know I have the issue with panning.
The other version is also v2.0.3.3, but I downloaded it today. Even though it claims to be the same as the June version, the file sizes are different. That one doesn't work at all. I get an Access Violation when trying to run it as a wrapped VST plugin in Protools, and it fails as a standalone as well.
I'm running PT 8.0.4 on Win7-64, and using FXPansion's VST-to-RTAS v2.11.
Thanks.
