Im running Win 7 x64 / Ableton Live 8.15. Motu 828 mk 2 at 256 samples, although the buffer size makes no difference to the clicking.
I've got a test setup in Live, just one track with operator playing a pitch-sweep sine tone. When the MMBC plug is active and an IR is loaded (e.g. Room 5m true stereo) if i do nothing I dont get clicks (The ableton cpu meter hovers around 19%). As soon as i touch something in the ableton UI like the filter type drop-down in Operator, I get a click. Same for opening editor windows, or the preset manager in MMBC or minimising the main Live app window etc..
Just to compare (and make sure its MMBC specific) I've also got altiverb on that track with a fairly long impulse loaded. If i turn off MMBC and turn on altiverb I can do anything UI-wise (drop-downs, minimise / maximise windows etc..) and I dont get any clicks. Switch back to MMBC and the clicks return.
This wouldnt be too bad, but if i then load a longer IR into MMBC like Church - 4000ms then I get clicks without doing anything even though the CPU meter is the same as before. It gets worse if i then start doing stuff, like opening / closing the preset window in MMBC.
I also get the same problem with the same setup in Energy XT.
System :

Let me know if you need more info. Hope we can clear this up
