What does Echo ping-pong do?

I'm used to ping-pong mode meaning that successive pings go left-right-left-right-etc, but in SM it sounds like something different is going on (cross-feedback or something?).

Either way, would it be possible to have a mode where the pings go left-right-left-right? When both left and right delay times are set identically, the width knob could control how far to the left/right the pings move. But even if the two delay times were different, I think it would offer a different kind of sound. Maybe both modes (the current implementation and the one I'm describing) could even be on at the same time?

The ping pong issue have been fixed in version 2.5.1.40. I'll release the update tonight, along with 50 new presets
