ACE patch contest #2

What is up with this contest? Is it dead in the water?

It's beginning to look that way.

I guess Andrew must either have some other extremely pressing commitments, or be otherwise indisposed such that he hasn't been able to find an internet connection since Tuesday (otherwise he would surely have taken a moment to post something along the lines of - sorry, v. busy, will def. have the patches up by 'x').

In the meantime - Plan B: how about everyone resubmits their patches to a common online folder such as box.net, dropbox etc? If we give Andrew until Sunday night to make an appearance, but if those who have already submitted a patch/patches can post here so that, in the event we don't hear anything, we can quickly resubmit and get the voting thread up.

If anyone has any particular preference for online filesharing sites please say so - box.net works for me, but I have a feeling that this might not be accessible for everyone?

Well, Andrew seems to have a bit of trouble connecting to the internet - which happens. I guess this means he's got a lot on his plate.

I'd still prefer to have him post everything, as that is how it was set up in the first place. Also, someone who's not a regular here might have sent patches to him.

A few days more or less don't hurt, but maybe it's time to move to a different system. Maybe we can "beta test" the new sound design forum while Howie starts to fill it with content over the next few months.

(anyone know an affordable graphics designer with skills in CSS, Joomla and phpBB template design?)
