SM will not work with Fxpansion wrapper

So far I haven't tried to use SM in Pro Tools using the fxpansion VST>RTAS wrapper in an effort to keep my system stable and I just haven't used the wrapper at all. But I wanted to see if I could get the SM vocoder working on a track I'm working on...so I gave it a shot. It crashes the wrapper first of all, appears to wrap the vst but when I tried to insert it on a track it crashes Pro Tools instantly.

The reason: VST 2.4 is not compatible with the fxspansion wrapper.

So there you go.

So I can't do much with it until the RTAS version comes out.

Just purchased FXPansion wrapper. Will test with PT 8 on Windows, and then with PT 9 on Mac OSX 10.6

Why the rush? Well, a "hit" producer who used SynthMaster in his new songs has told me he's switching to ProTools, so we'd better make it work with ProTools ASAP

And hopefuly in January we'll port SM 2.5 to RTAS in Mac OSX and then on Windows.

Looks like 8.0.4 doesnt work with MBox, so I have to download 8.0. will do that tonight.

If you mean the original Mbox Bulent then no 8.0.4 will not work. I just tried wrapping SM and it's still crashing PT. I can sometimes get the GUI up there but as soon as I press a key it brings PT down.

I was able to wrap the Camelaudio Alchemy player which is a VST 2.4 which is interesting.

Unfortunately I wont have any time for the port before February, because of the latest changes I have to implement first, which will make the 2.5 release happen on the last week of January.
