hi all

i have resently gotten into the skrillex sound,especially his bass sound,have been getting some decently close to the sound in massive,but im having a hard time getting good results in synthmaster

here is a example of the sound im after(from a massive tutorial)

is it possible to get sort of this in synthmaster??

in massive you can load different waveforms/presets for each oscilattor

its just im thinking on getting mssivebut if its possible to get the sound in synthmaster i dont want to spend my money on another synth

only had a bit of a play but i got this only added plugin a bit degrade plugin after Synthmaster, & of course the drum loop

i can post the preset if you want (even though its not quite what your after!) but it would be better to wait till after the next update due to the stereo OSC update

currently the LFO is tuned to 138bpm but i'm hoping to convince bulent to at some point add modulation of synced lfo rates, (going through a useful range of dotted & triplet values)

even though this preset is off the path of the original sound its a sound i like that not all synths can do nicely

Main thing you'd need for that particular sound is the vocal/formant wavetable and the distortion. The filters in SM are very nice and it has a lofi unit and tons of modulation so it's covered from that end. The distortion he's using isn't in Massive so that's not really an issue, but I don't know if SM has any vocal/formant waveforms right now (though you could import some, but it'd be nicer if they were just there I guess).
